Job: Tourism Booking Manager in Home Office in Kenya

📢 We’re Hiring! Booking Manager (Remote) in Kenya
Join our team to chat with travellers on WhatsApp, and call car rentals, private drivers, and tour guides, to get offers and make reservations. Work from home on your own laptop.
Requirements
 
Excellent English skills – You must be able to write and communicate in 100% correct English.
 
Own laptop & stable internet – A personal laptop and a reliable internet connection are required at all times.
 
Full-time availability – You should be available 5–6 days per week and able to work 5–10 hours per day, depending on demand.
 
Strong computer proficiency – You must be fast and experienced in using digital tools, spreadsheets, and web platforms.
 
Highly organized & responsive – You manage tasks efficiently, follow up with suppliers and clients, and respond quickly to messages. 
 
Responsibilities
 
Client communication – Chat with clients on WhatsApp to understand their needs and provide fast, friendly support.
 
Coordinate with suppliers – Call and message local providers (e.g. drivers, guides, rentals) to check availability and collect offers.
 
Create and send offers – Combine multiple services into custom packages and calculate total prices, including fuel, entrance fees, etc.
 
Negotiate prices – Compare offers from different suppliers and negotiate better deals to improve profit margins or pass on savings to the client.
 
Confirm bookings independently – Handle the full booking process: confirm with suppliers, confirm payments, and finalize all details.
  
Expand our supplier network – Research and reach out to new reliable local providers to improve service coverage and pricing options.
 
Problem solving – Act quickly to resolve any issues with clients or suppliers and ensure the best experience.
 
Support – Make sure bookings are successful and provide support for clients and suppliers before, during, and after the booked services.
Compensation
 
Full-time estimate: 30,000 – 100,000 KES per month (based on 6 days/week, 8 hours/day)

  • Hourly rate: 140 – 170 KES per hour.
  • Sales commission: 1 – 2% commission on the price of your bookings.
  • Post commission: 42 KES commission per social media post.
